Tailored Cyber Strategies for the 21st Century

Panel #1
Panel #2

We convened diverse voices from across the federal government, the U.S. military, the private sector, and national laboratories to understand current and future trends affecting our national cyber strategy, and to illuminate the role of Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) in contributing to national cyber strategy objectives using R&D and systems analytic capabilities.

Meeting objectives included:

  1. Assessing the impact of previous and ongoing national cyber initiatives and implications for the future,
  2. Framing the complex cyber strategy space, and situating various cyber strategies within that landscape, and
  3. Understanding barriers to operationalizing a whole-of-government and/or whole-of-society cyber strategy and policy.

This meeting was hosted by the Cyber Deterrence and Resilience (CyDaR) Strategic Initiative at Sandia National Laboratories.
